AMPS (bank draft)
Paying your bill is easy with Southern Indiana Power's Automatic Member Payment Service (AMPS) bank draft. Instead of conventional methods of mailing a check or dropping off your payment at our office, you may prefer to have the amount of your monthly bill automatically deducted from your designated bank account through AMPS. This is a free service to all our members. With your permission, Southern Indiana Power draws money from your bank account to pay your monthly bill. The payment is made automatically each month.
Once you sign up, you will receive your bill as usual. However, included on the bill will be the statement, "ACH DRAFTED - DO NOT PAY". The bill is sent for your records. The automatic bank drafts will be processed on the 20th of each month. If this date falls on a holiday or weekend, the draft will occur the next business day. Besides being convenient, AMPS is totally FREE. Neither the Cooperative nor your bank charge for this service.
If you are interested in AMPS, please call or visit our office and ask for the billing department. We will guide you through the simple process of signing up. Or, to get a head start, you may print a copy of the form. Complete the form and mail or fax the information to our office.
Members who participate in AMPS bank draft are automatically entered in a $50 monthly drawing.
